Just a quick one...

Last week in my Evolution class, a group of my classmates was doing a presentation on the evolution of sight/eyes.

They mentioned that one interesting fact they found was that snakes and humans have been shown to have co-evolved... and humans' eyes are particularly adapted to be in tune with and pick up on diamond and "plaid" patterns, such as snakes' markings display.

Coincidence?
